In May 2016, I was able to complete my Bachelor of Media Arts with a major in Animation from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. During my time at Emily Carr, I gained much experience working on a variety of different animation and design related projects. I also acquired valuable communication skills working with a diverse group of people with a wide array of personalities.
I've drawn all my life. Basically ever since I was able to hold a pencil. I would draw not only on blank paper, but in my giant Disney storybooks, where I would draw in new characters to tell new stories.
Pursing art, specifically animation, as a career for me was a no-brainer. I believe that animation is a powerful art form that can entertain and inform us in the most delightful and often amusing way. My work has been an outlet for personal expression and a means to communicate my reflections, thoughts and ideas.
Besides my love for animation and film, I also enjoy cooking, reading, being outdoors and practicing yoga. And being with my cat, Holly.
Favourite animated TV show (to name a few...): Rick and Morty, Dexter's Laboratory, Hey Arnold! Spongebob, Powderpuff Girls, Sailor Moon, Looney Tunes...and the list goes on...
